Morgan Stanley, the sixth-largest U.S. bank by assets, started a hedge fund office in Sao Paulo that will assist clients in South America. Juan Coppola will direct the new prime brokerage office in Brazil and will continue to be based in New York. Marcelo Queiroz will be responsible for clients in the region, and will relocate to Sao Paulo from San Francisco.
