Winfrey appoints star investment manager for family office

Peter Adamson, Eli Broad’s chief investment officer since 2001, has been hired by Oprah Winfrey as she sets up a so-called family office to manage her estimated $2.4bn (€1.96bn) personal fortune, according to a report in The Wall Street Journal.
