1. Saro Capozzoli, please introduce yourself, your professional career and your company.

I’ve been living and working in China for over 20 years and started my experience in a large Italian engineering company. In 1998 I founded JESA Investment & Management Ltd. one of the most important structures in supporting European companies investing in China following more than 600 projects implemented in 12 years.

1. What about Chinese market scenario? And how international situation is going to reflect into that?

The crisis has only marginally impacted the Chinese economy that has found new opportunities in the development of the internal market. One of the most important consequences is that it has been created a climate of distrust in the Western financial system that was once taken as an example, but now Chinese authorities are distancing themselves from certain patterns of development finance. The stimulus packages to support infrastructure development, health systems, the transportation system up grading, etc. was the most important launched in the World. The Chinese market becomes the first opportunity for Italian companies, but in the other side it necessary to understand that that it is now a must to be present in China to be part of this development.
