US law firm Fried Frank has appointed Robert McLaughlin, co-founder of the structured products practice at Katten Muchin Rosenman. Robert McLaughlin has joined law firm Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson as a partner in its asset management and financial services practices in New York. McLaughlin joins from Katten Muchin Rosenman, where he was co-founder of the firm’s structured products practice. His practice concentrates on financial transactions with an emphasis on over-the-counter derivatives, structured products, synthetic investments and credit extensions, as well as derivatives claim trading.
