Rockefeller Financial appoints Reuben Jeffery III as chief executive officer
Rockefeller Financial, a wealth management firm serving high-net-worth individuals, families, family offices, trusts, foundations and endowments, has hired Reuben Jeffery III as chief executive officer of the company. He will assume the office and join the board of directors on 7 September 2010, and will have responsibility for the general oversight of the company and its four business groups: Rockefeller Wealth Advisors, Rockefeller Asset Management, Rockefeller Capital Partners, and Rockit Solutions. Jeffery has been a senior adviser at the Center for Strategic & International Studies in Washington, D.C. and previously served in the US government as under secretary of state for economic, energy and agricultural affairs where he led the work of the department on issues ranging from trade and investment, energy, agriculture and aviation to bilateral relations with the US’s global economic partners.
