Metro de Lima Línea 2 S.A. secures a $28.7 Million Revolving Credit Facility

Miranda & Amado has advised Credicorp Capital Servicios Financieros S.A. and Banco de Crédito del Perú in connection with the structuring and granting of a revolving credit facility in favor of Metro de Lima Línea 2 S.A. for an amount of up to S/ 100 million (approximately USD 28.7 million at the current exchange rate).


The proceeds of the financing will be used by the company in order to finance the payment of Value Added Tax (VAT) within the context of the construction and development of the underground railway project “Linea 2 del Metro de Lima y Callao”. The approved  Project consists of the construction of a greenfield metro line, including all rolling stock and electro-mechanical equipment pursuant to a 35-year concession. Miranda & Amado has advised Credicorp Capital Servicios Financieros S.A. and Banco de Crédito del Perú with a team led by Jose Miguel Puiggros (Picture) and including Pablo Sotomayor, Victor León Chiri and Ignacio Nuñez Arena.
