Nordian Capital acquires majority stake in BouWatch

Netherlands-based Nordian Capital has acquired a majority stake in in Dutch surveillance equipment maker BouWatch from the Visser Assen Group for an undisclosed sum.


BouWatch is the market leading provider of temporary security solutions for outdoor locations, e.g. construction sites, industrial infrastructure, events or locations where high value goods need to be kept safe and secure. Visser Assen offers services for the construction and infrastructure sectors. ING and Houthoff Buruma advised Visser Assen on the transaction, while Nordian Capital had the support of JanssenBroekhuysen Advocaten. Stek has advised Rabobank in the financing of the acquisition of a majority stake in BouWatch by private equity firm Nordian Capital with a team led by partner Frans Haak (picture), assisted by associate Guy Pegels.
