América Móvil, S.A.B. de C.V. €1.5 Billion Notes Offerings

Simpson Thacher has represented the underwriters, led by Citigroup, HSBC and Société Générale, in connection with a public offering of €850 million aggregate principal amount of 1.5% Senior Notes due 2024 and €650 million aggregate principal amount of 2.125% Senior Notes due 2028 by América Móvil, S.A.B. de C.V. The notes will be listed for trading on the Euro MTF Market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.


América Móvil will use the net proceeds of these offerings for general corporate purposes. América Móvil, which is organized in Mexico, is the leading telecommunications service provider in Latin America, based on its 285.5 million wireless subscribers in 25 countries at December 31, 2015. América Móvil’s largest operations are in Mexico and Brazil. América Móvil also has major wireless, fixed-line and Pay TV operations in 17 other countries in the Americas and seven countries in Central and Eastern Europe.
