Leaders and Romans merge

Fried Frank acted as counsel to ICG as lender in connection with the merger of Leaders Lettings and Romans, portfolio companies of mid-market private equity firm Bowmark Capital, to create one of the largest property services providers in the UK


The combined group will have more than 140 branches across the UK, over 40,000 properties under management, and combined revenues of over £100 million – as well as a strong residential sales and professional services businesses. ICG, a specialist asset manager investing in private debt, credit and equity. The Firm, led by Justin Dowley, Benoît Durteste and Christophe Evain is based in UK. ICG provided a substantial unitranche debt facility to support the merger and enable the new group to continue its successful buy-and-build strategy. The Fried Frank team was led by corporate partner Stuart Brinkworth (Picture) and included corporate associates Paul Tannenbaum and Jacqueline Punjabi.
