Cathay Capital Private Equity acquires WST Präzisionstechnik GmbH

DLA Piper has advised Cathay Capital Private Equity on the acquisition of WST Präzisionstechnik GmbH from a Finatem fund and the management of WST, the first transaction of Cathay Capital Private Equity in Germany.

Key members of the management of WST will retain a minority stake in the company. The parties have agreed to keep the purchase price confidential. The completion of the transaction is subject to the approval of the competent merger clearance authorities.

WST Präzisionstechnik GmbH, with headquarters in Löffingen and more than 400 employees at two production sites in Germany, is a long-established manufacturer of high precision turned parts for the automotive industry as well as for costumers in the fields of drive, mechanical, and hydraulic engineering.
