Premier Energy and Water Trust PLC £26 Million Share Offering

Stephenson Harwood LLP has advised Premier Energy and Water Trust PLC on the establishment of a placing programme of ordinary shares.


The placing programme will allow the issue of up to 20 million ordinary shares, which will enable the Company to raise up to approximately £26 million (based on today's prices) to invest in accordance with its investment policy. The Company, led by Claire Long and James Arthur Smith, was launched in 2003 and aims to provide investors with income and capital growth by investing primarily in the energy and water sectors. The Company's ordinary shares are listed on the premium segment of the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and traded on the main market of the London Stock Exchange. The Company's investment manager is Premier Asset Management. The Stephenson Harwood team was led by corporate partner Alex Haynes (Picture), who was assisted by corporate associate Nick Horton and corporate trainee Henry Pelling.
