Philip Morris International Inc.'s €500 Million and $1 Billion Debt Offerings

Simpson Thacher represented Banco Santander, S.A., Barclays Bank PLC, Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Société Générale as joint bookrunning managers in connection with a registered public offering by Philip Morris International Inc. of €500 million of 2% Notes due 2036 to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange. The offering closed on May 9, 2016. The Firm also represented Barclays Capital Inc., Citigroup Global Markets Inc., HSBC Securities (USA) Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Santander Investment Securities Inc. and Société Générale as joint bookrunning managers in connection with a registered public offering by Philip Morris International Inc. of $500 million of 2.125% Notes due 2023 and $500 million of 4.25% Notes due 2044 to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange. The offering closed on May 10, 2016.
