Triton acquires the Industrial Services business unit of the technology group Voith

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, CMS Hasche Sigle and P+P Pöllath + Partners have advised on the deal


Triton is a private equity firm specializing in buyouts and middle market transactions. It invests in special situations and medium-size businesses. The Firm, led by Peder Prahl, Mats Eklund, Lars Frankfelt, Graeme Ardus and Thomas Sonnenberg, is based in Channel Islands. Voith retains a financial participation of 20 percent and will remain involved through the transition. Further terms of the purchase remain confidential. The execution of the contract is subject to approval by the relevant antitrust authorities. Voith GmbH, a technology group, provides systems, products, and industrial services for energy, oil and gas, paper, raw materials, and transportation and automotive markets. The company, led by Hans Hubert Lienhard, Hermann Jung, Gerd Schaible, Klaus Sommerkorn and Bertram Staudenmaier is based in Brenz.
