Citigroup global transaction services (GTS) has nominated Benoit Dethier as GTS financial institutions coverage head for Spain. Based in Madrid, Dethier will report to Dario Mesonero-Romanos, GTS Iberia cluster head, and Patrizia Rizzo, financial institution southern EU cluster head. Dethier will be responsible for managing Citi’s relationships with all Spanish banks, insurance companies and subsidiaries. Previously, Dethier was at JP Morgan Worldwide Securities Services where he was a sales manager looking after triparty collateral management senior sales and relationships in a number of EU countries.

Citigroup has appointed Patrick Curtin North American head of investor client sales management. Curtin will be responsible for sales across the entire investor services suite in North America to traditional and alternative investors and investment managers.

Citigroup has presented the AutoFX Passive Hedge service to provide institutional asset owners with a passive, automated hedging capability to lower foreign exchange risk.

Citigroup has nominated Michael Zink as its new country head for Citibank Singapore. He takes over on the 1st May from Jonathan Larsen, who left for Hong Kong last October to head Citi’s Asia-Pacific consumer banking and global cards business.

Citigroup has nominated Sanjiv Sawhney as global head of fund services for Citi’s securities and fund services business. Sawhney Sawhney will report to Neeraj Sahai, global head of Citi’s securities and fund services.
