Threadneedle hires Raymundo Yu as Asia Pacific chairman
Threadneedle, the investment arm of Ameriprise Financial, has nominated Raymundo Yu to the newly created position of Asia Pacific chairman. Threadneedle hires head of Asia and global emerging markets
Threadneedle has hired Vanessa Donegan to the newly created post of head of Asia and global emerging markets. Donegan was one of the founding members of Threadneedle’s investment team when the company formed in 1994. She has almost 30 years of funds management experience, with substantial expertise in Asian markets including most recently as head of Asia Pacific equities at Threadneedle. Threadneedle plans to present the UK Absolute Alpha Fund in quarter four, reinforcing its absolute return fund range. The Ucits III fund will give co-managers Mark Westwood and Chris Kinder increased flexibility in strategy and fund positioning. Threadneedle nominates Mark Burgess chief investment officer
Threadneedle has nominated Mark Burgess as its chief investment officer. He joins Threadneedle in the first quarter of 2011 and will work closely with Sarah Arkle, Threadneedle’s current chief investment officer, as she hands over her role and responsibilities to him. Threadneedle presents American Absolute Alpha Fund
UK-based fund manager Threadneedle has announced the launch of its latest absolute return fund, the Threadneedle (Lux) American Absolute Alpha Fund. According to Threadneedle, the fund is a SICAV under UCITS III regulation and will be managed by Stephen Moore, who also runs Threadneedle’s American Crescendo Fund.
